Individual therapy
In individual child therapy, we use a nondirective, empathetic approach that empowers and motivates clients toward fulfillment of their potential. Kids have the capacity and desire for personal growth and change, and we help facilitate this change through support, guidance, and a structure to discover personalized solutions within themselves.
Our core technique is to develop an alliance between therapist and client in a judgement-free and comfortable space. Therapeutic work will look less like advice-giving and more like listening and reflection. As we work to see things from the child's point of view, children will gain practice in communicating around their current emotional, behavioral, and thought patterns.
Simultaneously, we will practice yoga, breathwork, and meditation to strengthen their mind-body connection. Eventually, our therapy provides an eye-opening experience that will inspire kids to explore new ways to think, feel, and behave.
Anxiety
Anxiety disorder manifests in feelings of fear, dread, and uneasiness, accompanied by sweatiness, restlessness, tension, and rapid heartbeat.
While anxiety is a normal reaction to stress, people who suffer from anxiety disorder may find the physical and mental symptoms overwhelming to the extent that they can't manage their life day-to-day.
